A brief story of Ridiculously Extraordinary Freedom …
This is the true story of 2 personal friends. Both are regular guys who know what I do and have had total access to my knowledge over the past 10 years I’ve worked online.
I taught the first friend everything I know about running an online business. I would answer questions when asked and I left him to his own devices.
I taught the second friend everything I know about running an online business. I gave him guidance when asked and left him to his own devices as well.
So what happened?
Friend One didn’t do anything with what I taught him. Friend Two took what I taught him and in less than a year pulled in job replacing income in a few hours/week.
Magic Pill?
There is no magic pill. Friend One didn’t do anything with what I taught him and he got nothing out of it. Friend Two took action and changed his life.
Here’s the thing: Friend Two likes his job and doesn’t want to quit. He runs his Freedom business on the side.

Turning Dreams Into Reality
I started working for myself at age 19, 10 years ago. I was a University student, but was not a fan of University. Mostly, the classes were easy, boring, and only taught me how to become a number. A cog in the machine of society.
It’s very difficult to keep the Freedom Mindset when everybody around you is pounding home the get a “good” job and settle down mindset.
The first year or so of my entrepreneurial existence wasn’t particularly successful. But I was learning a lot from my mistakes.
Slowly, I started to see success. By the time I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2003 I was pulling in more income online than the average US citizen was making in their day jobs. It was then that I decided I would never use my degree or work a day job for a single day in my life.
2 years later I had a 2,500 square foot home, a BMW (paid for in cash), and all the trappings of the “good life.”
But I was miserable.
Horribly miserable.
My businesses were doing better than ever before but it didn’t matter. I went through a long dark period.
Can Money Really Buy Happiness?
It wasn’t until about 2 years ago that I finally began to turn my life around. I realized that money doesn’t directly buy happiness.
Living paycheck to paycheck is not a fun way to live and I’m not advocating poverty.
What I mean is that once you have your needs met, striving to earn more and more will not make you happier. In fact, like me, it might make you miserable.
Money Is No Longer The Goal, It Just Lets Me Do What I Want
Instead of using money as the end goal, I use it as a means to doing the fun things I want to do, like learning how to hand build guitars in India …
Or learning how to cook awesome vegan food in Thailand …
Or staying in a decommissioned Jail house in Christchurch, New Zealand …
And going to the most beautiful place I have ever seen on this earth, Lake Tekapo, New Zealand …

The quick process for finding out exactly which vaccinations you need in your selected destination. It’s a quick process and some countries have vaccination requirements. That is, they won’t let you inside their borders without having a certain vaccination. Find out ahead of time so you’re not stuck in an airport and sent back home.
The one simple Web site that will help you with visas to whichever country you plan on visiting. Sometimes you won’t need a visa. Sometimes it’s a pain in the ass to get a visa. Sometimes you have to leave a country every 30 days (known as a Visa run), which is what I had to do in Thailand. Pages 19-20 have your answer.
How to connect with locals and other travelers anywhere in the world. There is nothing like plopping into a new city where you don’t know anybody and immediately being whisked away for an all-night backyard birthday party. :)
